More than anything else in my professional life, I have strived to provide the best dental care for my patients, many of whom have become an extension of my family. The relationships that we have forged are forever in my heart. — Dr. Lauren Carr
Dr. Carr followed in her father's footsteps: He was a dentist and she grew up helping in his practice. Her two brothers also went into dentistry and nurtured her interest and fascination with the field, providing mentorship and insight as she went through dental school. Being witness to the relationships between her father and those he cared for, and the respect and friendships that developed, instilled a strong sense of duty in Dr. Carr. She believes in being there for each patient, no matter what the person's dental care needs may be. She focuses on aesthetic and restorative dentistry, using her technical aptitude and artistic skills to provide her patients with beautiful, functional, healthy smiles that transform lives.
Each year, Dr. Carr attends multiple continuing education courses, to perfect her clinical abilities through training at national and international teaching facilities. She has completed the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and is a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Carr knows it is essential that she stay on the leading edge of developments in oral healthcare, including technological advancements, and new techniques and treatment options. It is only by continually learning and honing her skills that she is able to provide her patients with the best care available.
A native of Elkton, MD, Dr. Carr, her husband Kevin, and their twin daughters, Kelly and Lindsey, now call Missouri their home. Some of her interests outside of family and the office include golfing and playing the bassoon.
